One of the largest "hidden costs" of remote data capture is the cost of training investigational sites and internal system users. The best way to minimize this cost is to make the system so intuitive that it requires very little participant training at all. This is one of our greatest strengths.
We have made our largest investment in creating a clinical data collection and management system that is "walk-up" friendly. The intention being that informed users could “walk-up” to the system and begin to use it with little or no training.

Of course, all users must receive system training in order to maintain compliance with applicable federal regulations and GCP/GMP guidelines. Fortunately for our clients this can be accomplished during site initiation visits by field clinical monitors (no specially trained personnel or additional site visits required), or via structured, documented, web-based training methods.
This keeps deployment costs low and user-acceptance high. |
